TOOLS FOR ARTISANS

Small artisans structure are today highly victim of poverty, marginalization and vulnerability, manifested on the market by unfair prices, excessive use of harmful products, deforestation and child labor. Yet sustainability certification are a development tool, leveraging market demand for sustainability. HxN has an expertise of more than 10 years on capacity building for artisans in Andean and Patagonia region in former-to-former trainings.

 

The Toolkit brings knowledge on how to leverage their business, scale-up and add more value in 5 modules which help to accomplish an artisan management production in 5 steps. This tool has been created for artisans and courses facilitators.

Capacity building to preserve cultural heritage to facilitate the knowledge transmission, to stimulate the personal and collective development and to boost groups of artisans to add value to their products and market access.

MANOS DEL SALADO

In 2019, HechoxNosotros visited a group of textile artisans in Buenos Aires Province (Argentina) with several challenges related to production costs and organization, across 3 training sessions solutions were found to these issues.

LAGUNA BLANCA

In February 2020, HechoxNosotros visited the cooperative Laguna Blanca (Catamarca-Argentina), a vicuña fiber producer with the aim to help the artisans to add value to their products and find solutions to their challenges.
